The Harrogate Rambling Club is really good fun, offering walks in pleasant company in the beautiful dales and moors of North Yorkshire. In these web pages, you will find information about what we do and how to join us - please come in and have a look!
Background InformationWe have a wide range of walks for people of all levels of fitness and experience, and walks are normally available on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the year. Typically, we organise 30-35 walks each month, with lengths ranging from 4 miles to 15+ miles.

Important - Revised Walks GradesPlease note that revised walks grades were introduced from 1st April 2007, together with new start times. Full details of the new grades are here, and the new start times are here.
70th Anniversary WalksOn 22 Oct 2006, the Club celebrated its 70th anniversary with a very successful group of walks in the Great Alms Cliff area, the site of the very first walk, followed by tea in Huby Village Hall. More details are here.
AccidentsIf you should be unfortunate enough to have an accident whilst on a club walk, please report it using the procedure here.
Path ObstructionsIf you should encounter a blocked or otherwise unsatisfactory path, stile, etc., please report it using the procedure here.
