On 22 Oct 2006, the Club celebrated its 70th anniversary
with a group of walks in the Great Alms Cliff area, the site of the very
first walk. More details are here.The Club also has an active social programme
at any time, as you can
see from the details below. Contact us for more information about any of
the items. It's not always as sunny as this, though.

SUNDAY 6 DECEMBER - Christmas Coach Ramble to Richmond |

Coach leaves Trinity at 9 am There will
be three grades of walk offered, and dinner has been arranged at the
Kings Head Hotel in Richmond, where changing rooms will be available.
After a 2 course meal plus coffee, the coach will depart Richmond for
Harrogate at about 7 pm. |
The cost, including the coach, meal
and tips will be £29 per person. Please send cheques, made payable to
"Harrogate Rambling Club", to Andrew Batcup, Holly Bank House, North
Rigton, Leeds, LS17 0DE by November 20. Please let Andrew know if you
would like to be picked up in Knaresborough or Boroughbridge.

FRIDAY 26 FEBRUARY - Harrogate Rambling Club Annual Dinner |
|
|
The Club's Annual Dinner will be held
at Ascot House, King’s Road, Harrogate 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm. After
dinner, the guest speaker will be Mark Reid, author of the Inn Way
series of classic pub walks. |
The cost of the dinner is £25 per head.
Please forward your menu choice, with a cheque made payable to
"Harrogate Rambling Club" to Jen Harland, 97 Hill Top Avenue, Harrogate
HG1 3BS by January 10. |

SATURDAY 24
APRIL - Ceilidh |
|

The 2010 Ceildh will be held at
Almscliffe Village Hall at Huby 7.30 pm to 11 pm. As last year, we
will have the Dark Horse Ceilidh Band with their ‘caller’ to lead us
through the dances. There will be a bar for drinks and we will have a
Faith Supper. |
