The role of the Harrogate Rambling Club Membership Secretary is to:
Handle Membership
Enquiries:
Enter Details of
New Members in the Club Records:
-
Add email address to Outlook distribution
list
-
Record name, date, amount in the Members
database.
-
Record new members' payments and bank them
Publication of
Each New Programme:
-
Print Address labels for current members.
-
Help the Programme Secretary with sending
out programmes.
-
Send a letter and a copy of the programme
to Tourist Offices, Libraries and Advertisers.
-
Print copies of Membership lists for
committee members as required.
Manage
Annual Renewals:
-
Provide sufficient Renewal Slips for
mailing with the Dec-March programme.
-
Process Renewals from mid Nov to end of
Jan.
-
Send reminder letters mid January to
members who have not renewed
Other Activities:
-
Attend committee meetings
and report on membership numbers and email addresses.
-
Tell Programme Secretary
how many programmes are needed for each issue
-
Send out emails for club business/walk
changes as required (send to members as BCC)
-
Report on Web Stats on behalf of David
Peckett (Web Master)

Maintain stocks of the information and
joining pack stationery
